    Kotu's NA-t swap

I have a set of OEM type .020 over anodized pistons w/ rings. I was going to use them in a second rebuild, but I'd sell em for $85 + shipping.

89 frankenstein This is what you can do with a $100 car.

Lotta good work there. I got to get started on my car's cosmetics, but I've been to lazy. : ( Kennesaw here.

    t56 swap progress

I'm impressed with your effort! PS- The tranny support that's different between the W58 and R154 setups is the driver's side.

    Kotu's NA-t swap

At least buy a replacement clutch disc, that way you know you've got plenty of miles left. The only concern is that you might not have a perfectly flat clutch cover surface.

How often do Main Studs and/or Rod Bolts REALLY fail?

I did- it's a bargain upgrade. This is reassuring.

    Whale Tail/Bomex Rear Install?

Um. It's not meant to have sides. Kaminari did make a bigger version of the 90+ 3piece wing. It's hotness.

    My new 7M buildup...long road.

NONE. I am stuck right now because I just changed jobs, and the paychecks haven't started rolling in yet. Hopefully by the end of the month I can pull my old engine and finally do the swap. I'm also considering buying a $300 beater for commuting in the meantime.

Home Depot Strut tower bars! (With Pics)

It looks like that front one could be flexed in both hands. If it can be, -even a millimeter- think what you car is doing to it. PS- I see you have a JZ engine conversion. I think you can afford the $30 Ebay item.

    Confusion about a vacuum source

Thanx for the replies. Yes, I have a turbo model of the CC as well, but due to the fact that (as mentioned above) there is no wiring plug to actuate the pump motor, I wanted to use the NA version. Not sure HOW I would trigger the GTE CC vac motor, as mentioned above, so again, Is there a single...

    89' #1 and #4 cylinder wnt fire, why???help!!

I think that #'1 and 4 are on separate coils, so I dunno if that'd be the problem. Replace the wires, and see where you are. It wouldn't hurt to check the individual connections to each coil either. Also, I've seen where you can get enough water or oil contamination down in the spark plug valley...

    Confusion about a vacuum source

I was searching 'vacuum' threads, but didn't find my answer; I have an 88' 7mgte(swap), and was wondering how to set up a vacuum manifold. Is there a particular port that I can tap into, or do I have to use two different ports with check valves, so that I can get vacuum under light throttle as...

    glass pack on supra

It sounds just a touch drone-ish at low rpm. DO you have the muffler at the back? I would imagine that iff it was farther upstream, it might kill the drone, even though the end result out of the back would be the same. Sounds pretty sweet during WOT. :biglaugh:

    Quieter exhaust?

I do get that droning, but I wouldn't mind it quiter at all speeds.
