Looking to change auto to manual.

Yeah, you got jacked. Get your money back, man. Which yard did you deal with? If they don't have the right tranny, try Jarco inc. in Canton. They import ALOT of 7m stuff.

    turbo sensor plug

I swapped an 88 7mgte into an 88na. You don't need the turbo pressure sensor hooked up. AFAIK, it's just for the oem gauge, because I've never had any problems not using the sensor. If you hook up an aftermarket gauge, you can choose either an electrical, which comes with it's own sensor, or a...

    Ground Control?

Those GC's look ok, but at $400, AND a set of good struts(~$400)... WHY not get actual coil-over shocks? http://www.prostreetonline.com/x/nex-ss-coilovers.asp That's just one example. I know some people have tried Megans with good results.

    Just Bought it!

Not sure I understand... Are you saying that the accordian pipe has oil in it? How much? If it's only a bit, it's prolly from the PVC-type(that's prolly not what I should call it) plumbing. Notice the pipe that connects both valve covers to both the throttle body and to the accordian hose...

Is this normal shifter operation?(Silly Vid)

That's waay to mushy to be right. Like GabbyVip said, one of your bushings is dead/ MIA, or the bolts are loose that hold the shifter down.

how do u know if the rings are seated

I just installed my new engine, And did some loading on the rings. I let it warm up completely and cool down twice, then took it out and ran it up and dragged it down from 1500rpms, to 4000 rpms, about 15 times, and not over 3psi boost. It wasn't exactly the way that one thread states to do it...

    Throw Out bearing or....

I'm thinking you might need to replace the bellhousing in the worst case scenario.

    Throw Out bearing or....

Sweet. I can't remember - is the broken part actually part of the bellhousing, or is it 1/2 of something that bolts to the bellhousing?

    ARP Head Stud Question.

Yeah, just wait for BHG. It's the logical excuse for an upgrade anyway.

    My new 7M buildup...long road.

Well, I noticed one problem so far. When I start it up cold, the oil pressure rises to like 40 psi at idle. Nice. BUT, once it's completely warmed up, it drops to near zero at idle, and only gets up to about 30 psi ay 3k rpm. This is a new oil sender, and I'm not sure if it's reading right or...

    My new 7M buildup...long road.

Wellllll, it finally runs! Yay me! After letting the fuel evaporate, I cranked it over and walah! nothing. :naughty: I knew I'd prolly have to mess with the CPS, and I did. After playing with it for about 10 minutes, I FINALLY got it started!!! After some back and forth testing with the...

    My new 7M buildup...long road.

Well, today I FINALLY had a chance to finish up the Supra transplant. I finished filling the transmission, and reinstalled the shifter. Then I reinstalled the battery and reconnected the ecu and MAFT. I cranked it for about 45 seconds w/ the EFI fuse out, to build up oil pressure, and it came...

    My new 7M buildup...long road.

Man does my schedule suck. If I'm not scheduled off, it means that I'm basically on call for work, as nothing is really scheduled to me specifically, ahead of time. SO I had to work all day today, and I was thinking I'd get a couple of hours free tomorrow to finish her up, but NO. I have to go...

88 Turbo Old Man Project Car

Yeah, that widened keyway is a common problem. It stems from the pulley bolt loosening up, and the pulley just wobbles back and forth. Get a replacement crank.
