    Mik: As far as I know if you clean all of the flourine rubber coating off then hit them with some sealer (Either a light coat of copper or Permatex brake quiet) you can reuse them. Make sure there's no crap between the layers as well.

    IJ/Allan suggestions: Grab an 11mm Allen inhex taper the edge then hammer it into the hole...... And don't blame us if it doesn't work ;)! Alt: Drill the End until it falls off pull the head then remove.

    Joe: LOL you made me go out early ;)! I stripped a GTE CPS and you're correct there's a Lip seal under the bearing.

    Joe: I'll have a look when I go out to the workshop in a couple of hours and if I'm wrong I'll post it up but I don't recall a Lip seal in there at all! I'm 100% certain on the different shaft sizes though as the Distributor has an extended shaft that locates in the head. Maybe it was...

    Joe: I'm not trying to be a knob here but I have both NA and GTE unassembled here and they use a totally different size bearing as the shafts are different sizes and I can't recall seeing a lip seal in eaither just a sealed bearing. I modded a NA distributor to use in my car.

    Pioneer: LOL yeah it's a PITA but it can be removed it's just easier to pull the motor. (we have the advantage that we don't have the bulge in the firewall for the Aircon so have more room for a downpipe) I jumped in to this thread as I'm 99% certain Jon/Siman hasn't gotten around to fitting...
