    Fan/Fan clutch/Throttle cable

Check your gas pedal- is it bent from age? You may be able to tighten that freeplay up by rebending the upper half of the linkage(where the cable joins it) away from the firewall. My pedal bracket's upper mounting bolt actually broke loose from the firewall(with part of the firewall's metal!)...

Engine dies out just above idle [After GTE swap]. Any tips?

Well, at warm idle, you should get pretty close to 20psi vac. As for TPS: http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=FI&P=101 As for the AFM: http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?Section=FI&P=96 Save a bookmark for the TSRM- It's your main source of...

Diagram on How to route PVC lines correctly with a Catch Can?

Thanks. Yeah I'd left mine on a shelf in the garage for years, because I was too lazy to route it, and didn't know the proper way. Then I read this thread the other day, as well as the thread in the above link, and finally got motivated to do it.

Changing my first head gasket, and maybe head!

Yeah- I think most people suggest 72ft-lbs on stockers. I don't think that the FelPro HG is a bad option either. I did up to 14 psi on the stock CT, with Felpro and ARP's, and never had BHG.

Help find single XXR/sportmax 502 rim please.

When I got mine, the front two were a completely different shade than the back two. I had to send them back to the seller, and wait 2 months to get replacements from Japan, so I feel your pain @ the backorder. PS- kamikazemkiii - WTF is that gif in your sig? It cracks me up EVERY time I see...

    oil pump question

Open them up, check the gear to gear clearance, the gear to cover clearance, and the gear to body clearance, as per the TSRM. Also- Make sure the one you use(if it's within spec) is the GTE model. It'll have 37mm length gears, IIRC.

    Fan/Fan clutch/Throttle cable

You can only adjust the throttle cable on the throttle body end. Was your car originally an NA? If so, you can replace the throttle cable with one from the turbo model- it's slightly shorter overall. Fan clutch...

Code 31 and 24 with intermitent no start.

I like to throw this at just about every no-start post: Check the cps wires. They fray and get brittle, and can cause an intermittent no-start.

    alternator high voltage

Sounds like your battery might just be getting hot from continuous discharge, since you don't mention an overvoltage issue. Something shorted?

    Help on spring choice!

Monroe's, huh? Anyway- I recommend Eibach's. They drop the front a little over 1.5", and the rear about 1", which is the perfect stance IMHO. They are progressive, so they ride well on the street, and tighten up when you really corner. That's my experience at least. As for Monroe's, I don't...

What upgrade to get 400+hp with a 57trim?

Seriously. I gained like ~30hp and 2psi over stock just from that!

What upgrade to get 400+hp with a 57trim?

I think that the oil cooler mod(to thermostatic) is almost a necessary mod, since the factory system only opens the cooler circuit above a specific pressure(~40psi). I'm pretty sure that the oil needs to be cooled on occasions when you are at less than that psi. Other oil mods include shimming...

Diagram on How to route PVC lines correctly with a Catch Can?

After reading the above-mentioned thread, I just finished doing mine: The pcv can itself is not in the engine compartment, but rather- I mounted it under the driver's headlight. (A), because i wanted it in a cool area, (B), I was running out of engine compartment room. The valve cover hose...

Degrease the engine so that there's no oily areas on the bottom, sides or top, and figure out where its coming from. Did you have the turbo flange gaskets replaced?
