    How many 7M failures were caused by the incorrect head bolt torque settings which in turn let the Heads anneal (go soft) causing yet more issues down the track? There isn't a Cast Iron Block Aluminium Head motor out there that would withstand this treatment then toss in tight owners that...

    Stock is black sounds like you have an aftermarket IC or it's been painted Silver. There are a LOT of debates about this subject some believe that Black radiates heat better while others argue that putting the paint on is a barrier to the heat transfer........ I've seen piles of data...

    Biggest "issue" with multiweight Oils is for 5 quarts of Oil only 4 are actually Oil the other quart is "Viscosity Index Improver".

    Tom I just bought the individual pieces from various performance shops. VPW stocks just about all of it and I think I got the T Stat from Rocket Industries from memory.

    LMAO :slap: I don't think you can hear mine in the Vids I did. You can only hear mine at around 3>4000 rpm anything over that the engine fan drowns it out. The Bosch recirc is probably the best of the cheaper BoV's around and I know TurboSmart so a budget one now as well!

    Mine makes a weird "crackpop" sound when it vents but you can't really hear it above the exhaust. It can't be heard from the passenger seat.

    Do some research there are "issues" with venting an AFM equipped car to atmosphere..... If you go for another recirculated one you'll be fine but you won't get the "sound" that seems important.
