Nah Garrett just went to the expense and effort of designing the water cooling side of it for fun........
Yes you can run it without water.
Should you run it without water is another matter.
It's 2 hoses and 4 clamps how hard can it be to do it right?
Ron: It all depends on how they do the blanks ie: Full 360 degree lobes or rough Cam shaped lobes.
If they go for 360's it adds to the finishing costs and your Grinder won't be at all pleased (ask me how I know this ;) )
If they go for rough semi sized you'll need 2 blanks.
Here it used to be a bit hard to find so if you had an LPG only car you had to plan trips carefully but these days 90% of filling stations have LPG.
For a long time I ran the Supra as a dual fuel system so could switch to Gas if I ran out of LPG.
1) Remove Gas system
2) Install LPG tank (pre filled with 20 litres)
3) Install Gas Carb
4) Install Convertors
5) Plumb lines
6) Wire up the Closed loop controller
7) Wire Gas gauge
8) Tune
9) Get scared and limit boost to 20 psi ;)
Mileage on my LPG setup on the highway at a steady 100 kph/60 mph on cruise control is 8.5 litres per 100 KM's 33 imperial MPG and 28 US MPG.
Where it comes into it's own is it's 104 octane and 1/3rd the price of regular Gas here!
It's also a very clean running fuel.
Jon: The "Limits" Are when you have to notch the Pistons for Valve clearence but this would mean very a different custom ValveTrain to prevent Coil Bind.
I'm assuming this is after the Group A Style/Spec Cams and am waiting to hear back from Sloww66 on the Coil Bind issue when he mocks up his...
I guess I'll have another bash at it as you don't seem to have read my last reply...

225/50/16 = 24.9" speedo @ 60
255/35/18 = 25" road speed = 60.4
215/35/18 = 23.9" road speed = 57.5
nowhere near your 11 mph error.
The tire size alone doesn't account for the error...
