Jon: It needs the extended bucket shaped part with the notch in the side to work on our heads as the springs are recessed in the Lifter bores.
The one you pictured is for heads where the Spring stick out like a domestic V8.
It's all a big juggle to get extra things into a Mk3 engine bay!

A few years back they ran an LPG Falcon at the Bathurst 24 hour production car race and that's how they did it.
Takes a big guy to swap the tanks in and out though!
