Yes there seems to be a range where it's more pronounced early on.
I think when it goes away above a certain engine speed what's happening is the Oil Pump is supplying enough pressure/volume so you have a wedge of oil between the loose bearing and the crank preventing contact/noise.
When...
OZ: It's chock full of anti oxidents so maybe this is why everything stays so clean!
n2: When I got my rack and pump rebuilt they wouldn't warranty it unless I fitted a filter! (I installed a small header type cooler as well)
Conversely you might actually hurt drivability by going that large as the Gas speed through the system drops and you need time to fill the volume added and end up with perceived lag.
Your Turbo moves xx cfm of air at a given boost pressure what you're after is a pipe diameter that's small...
One of the local guy here in Australia has one! (Big Rob)
I was checking it out at a recent dyno day and was told they're much lighter than a Mk3 so would be a bit of a weapon with a good 7M ;)
I try to treat people how I expect to be treated nothing more nothing less.
A lot of people on the net lose sight of the fact you're interacting with real people and tend to say things they otherwise wouldn't face to face.
SM is a cut above the rest as far as a sense of community goes.
If it were really tight you'd run the risk of hanging a valve open during the power stroke and torching the edge off and this as you can imagine is a bad thing! ;)
Thanks :)!
I had one of the local Cam shops here in Australia do them.
I went a little conservative as I wasn't sure how drivable it was going to be with the low compression and didn't want to kill off too much low end!

In the lower pic there are 2 bushings the top one can wear badly giving you the "play" that is often mistaken for sloppy wheel bearings.
The wheel bearings in our cars are very stout pieces and will get noisy beofre you can feel slop in them.
Jack the car up remove the wheel and grab the...
Was just thinking it would increase torsional ridgidity quite a bit but didn't know if you had a specific reason to do it the way it's done!
Very nice cage :)!
(something I've been thinking of doing here)
I just ask myself before posting "Does my post help/contribute" if yes I hit reply if not I delete it!
Quite a few times I type something out then read it before hitting the button only to think how others could possibly misinterpret it and what the fallout will be!
I'll have a friendly...
And being the totally lazy old guy I am if I ever lost my mind enough to go bling on aluminium components I'd track down somewhere close by that does the High Temp Ceramic coatings and pay them to drop my part in their Vibratory Polisher for a couple of hours after I had deburred and removed as...
