Why does the following scenario pop into my head after reading Siman's post ;)!
Dr: First, the sternum is cut down the middle with a special bone saw and the chest opened
Siman interupts: No no no I tell you the 2JZ and 1JZ Cranks are the same cos I read it on the internet! <jk>
Rods: Same
Pistons: Bigger dish in GTE
Crank: Same
Block: GTE has oil squirters
2 x Knock Sensor bosses
Turbo Drain flange drilled and tapped
Head: Same
Cams: GTE has a different intake
If you need to worry about power loss to an engine fan there's something drastically wrong!
With the 7M's Inherent cooling issues and the staggering amout of damage it can do if something goes wrong I'll stick with an engine fan and drop a HP or two.
