    You have a 10 psi spring in the gate but at high rpm/load you see 12 psi or higher. this is creep Happens sometimes if the gate can't flow enough to keep the shaft speed under control. If you've shimmed the WG it can happen when the spring coilbinds and can't let the flapper open far...

    If you have access to a compressor adjust it's regulator to 10 psi and plug it into the actuator it should hold open with no escaping air noise.

    I had a junk 7M that had this happen and some genius decided to use DevconA titanium epoxy to fix it...... Took me an entire day and much butchery to remove the front of the motor!

    I have a plastic JDM one with 300 km's on it if anyone is interested (yes 300/185 miles) I fitted it a few days before I lost the old motor on the dyno then stripped all of the petrol gear out of the car! $70 usd shipped

    JJ: I noticed this on my last motor with the 6M crank if revved hard (7000) it wasn't happy! New motor with the 7M crank is turbine smooth at 7700!
