Thats really good. I got about 260/260 on stock with similar exhaust setup, at about 8psi.

For studs that are taking that kind of stress, I wouldn't use a regular helicoil. Maybe timesert's.

So...an '87 turbo has a different center bearing than an '88 turbo??

IIRC, you can, it's just that part of the 6.5" cone will be below the peaker opeing, and blocked by the door panel. And also as Kevin said, you have to cut some of the metal away. PS- What do you mean the audio section is closed? It's just that nobody's posted any new threads there...

The manufacturers don't try to make the car perfect, hence recalls, and the aftermarket industry.

Nothing so exciting. The buttons are momentary switches to open and close the exhaust cutout.

Be very careful prying it. You have a 90% chance of snapping that black plunger. I would reach from inside and just pull on the mechanism.

Is that removeable, or do you need to go beat some muthafukka's...?
