Today, I went to the local Caffeine&Octane show around 8am, just to drool over a couple hundred cars. When I got home with a slight bit more motivation, I decided to hammer out the two cuts in my passenger floorboard. Before: After: Good enough to allow me to weld it back...

What did you do to your supra today? Pics

Oil bolt? The bolt that attatches to the turbo goes straight into the iron of the center cartridge. I don't see any chance of stressing anything here. Besides, I only plan to place mild tension on this assembly, as it's only purpose is to reduce the workload of the exhaust manifold studs.

Want to take some of the torque strain off of the exhaust manifold bolts. They're supporting a: 25lb manifold 20lb turbo 10lb downpipe Fwd weight/ strain of the exhaust system The stay will simply put a light upper tension on the turbo. Hopefully, it'll help with longevity.

Tired tonight. Adam came down from SC today, and we worked out asses off, removing all his suspension arm/ hub bushings. But it was worth it- we got them all out. Picked up my upper turbo stay from the fab shop. Looks like it will do what I need it to.
