Is there any REAL advantage to a dual split downpipe?

Shit always seems to be associated with anything from ebay or china for some reason. Though i do agree to support forum vendors when possible.

11psi of boost and hitting fuel cut off.

Did you get it like that or did it start after you were driving it? Again, more info would help us help you.

    AFM failed / code 31

The problem with the GTE AFM is it used a piece of reflective foil and a phototransistor. (maybe wrong component name) The foil moves in relation to air speed and the phototransistor creates a pulse signal (HZ) and that along with air temprature are calculated by the TCCS along with other data...

11psi of boost and hitting fuel cut off.

A larger fuel supply will only cause a rich condition without having a way to proportionally increase airflow. Tuning will be required or the traditional "cheat" of the lexus AFM and 550cc injectors. The problem is the metered airflow and the TCCS, not the fuel system. With a large enough pump...

11psi of boost and hitting fuel cut off.

Maybe, how did you raise the boost? Did you raise it a little at a time? Or just pull the wastegate hose off? It will stop hitting fuel cut when certain parameters are below the threshold of fuel cut. Fuel cut is based on a few different things, airflow is a major one. Lowering boost pressure...

11psi of boost and hitting fuel cut off.

Your at the limit for the stock AFM and stock injectors without tuning. If the motor is shutting off for approx 1.5-2 seconds, your hitting fuel cut.

    CPS and "non reusable parts"

Yea that would be another "dont fuck up the gear" way to do it. I had another gear so i figured fuck it. :Biglaugh:

    CPS and "non reusable parts"

Well since i had another gear i clamped on the teeth of the gear so that when i was beating on it i was holding, and beating on the same object. I felt if i clamped the housing i would have a chance of bending the shaft leaving me SOL. It also held the rotational position of the shaft so the...

    CPS and "non reusable parts"

Eh, i wouldn't trust just aluminum jaws, i would still want a very healthy layer of cloth of some sort, Maybe even wood. On the teeth of a gear, i wouldn't want any metal directly contacting them with any type of force or pressure. I just threw mine in a vice, but i had another gear to use...

Mods list? Hate to break it to ya, but you prolly are hitting fuel cut. And with stock injectors, im going to say its prolly a good thing.

I can't take all the credit It was posted in another thread about rebuilding the CPS. Can't recall who off hand though.

    brake rotors/ drop/rims

Keros: What you speak of the stop brakes is true, though they still suck. I have properly bed in new pads on brand new rotors. The car stops just fine, and will do it in a hurry but, and this is the but, the brake rotors are too thin to handle the heat generated by stopping this car. In one...

    Wtf!?!?!

You don have one or it's not on? Wouldn't sound to me like an intercooler pipe as at idle it would cause a lean condition from zero metered air. I'd say 02 sensor or leaky injectors. Black smoke is fuel, a rich condition is only caused by leaking intercooler pipes while in boost. Same with...

    CPS and "non reusable parts"

The only hard part i saw about not damaging the gear is bieng able to hold it in something while you hammer out the pin.

    CPS and "non reusable parts"

If this helps its a place that sells the seal, bearing, outer o-ring and pin for the gear all together. Doesnt come with the gear but it comes with everything else. http://kbox.ca/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/47/products_id/252

    brake rotors/ drop/rims

They have different machines for machining rotors that are drilled or slotted. The regular lathe isnt going to work out well.
