Heh, i never thought of that.
I just recently rebuilt my CPS, the hardest part is getting the pin out of the gear/shaft. I got one of the remaining 3 (At the Time) gear sets left in the country.
As it was said, quality coilovers are better then TEMS.
As far as brakes i would go with a factory solid rotor. Our cars are big heavy pigs, The rotors are not very large in diameter but there very thin for a car like ours.
Going with drilled and slotted rotors will take away from the rotor...
I think if anyone can break it, its Ian. I also think if anyone can make something work, its Ian.
Ian The PCS is whats letting you run a Shift ignition cut right? Its not something i could do with the SSv4?
You can run bias slicks on the back with radials in the front, my friends car was like that and i know many people that run that on occasion.
The problem is bias ply tires and radial tires dont behave the same way, so mixing them can make things interesting.
Im not completely sure but radial...
Who needs paddle shifters when you can use the cruise control switches and not add any clutter to the steering column area. :) Thats how i have the SSv4 set up.
Kind of a pain in the ass as its connected to something that looks like the wheel on the throttle bracket, but its inside the transmission. A "L" shaped pick helps out on fiddling with it.
I was actually curious about that, does any special procedure have to be taken to bleed the brakes on this car? I know newer cars use the scan tool to cycle the ABS to get the air out.
If you want to see if anything is bieng burnt, then take the car out at night and goose it a little when theres cars behind you. The headlights will make any amount of smoke very visible.
I forgot that sealant also, but im MHG. Leaked about a quart a day.
Fixed it though, now its leaking somewhere else. I feel like im in a cartoon, Plugging up one leak with one finger and another one starts.
