    Ok next thing it can be is Old fluid, brake fluid is Hygroscopic meaning it attracts water, water when boiled turns to steam, steam compresses and bingo the pedal goes to the floor!

    I'd say it's broken the ringlands off like in the above pic! All it takes is a second with no gate control and it's all over! :(

    RPM/Time is all. Our motors get spun up for short periods race motors can be at maximum output for almost the entire race. (who were you talking to?)

    9psi on my old GT30r was about the limit of the rebuilt 58 I had back then.... it started showing signs of stress so instead of killing it I pulled it.
