    Ummm I was trying to not bag this idea too much! Really it isn't going to happen! As I said the mk3 hood is fullOcurves and the second you put a Tig anywhere near your 1mm sheet stock it's going to move around meaning you'll either spend weeks with a hammer and dolly or have to use filler...

    While the CNC was running code I dismantled my HKS Stopper and dug out a can of Brakleen and had a play! The Viton seems to go a little hard then comes off fairly easily!

    Mike: last time on the dyno I had s slight stumble around the 5000 mark (tq peak) so ended up adding in a few degrees of advance and that cured it!

    Makes life a bit easier! Rev Limit wasn't working on my 4+ so I drove over there unplugged it handed it to Natalie 5 mins later she handed it back with a new firmware flashed! :)

    Hells: There isn't any "texture" on the outside they're smooth clear so you can see the weave underneath but not feel it!

    CS: The hood has quite a few complex curves that will be a PITA to form from sheet! (it's not flat anywhere)

    CS: Good luck forming a sheet hood! Will help if you have access to a 100+ ton press and dies ;)!
