    The manifold has more mass to it and it's tube structure so of course it will take more force to break but it will break on impact..... I really hope you're NOT calling me a nut swinger....

    Impact is very different to torsional load. Drop ANYTHING cast and more than likely it'll break but doesn't in use (ie: Cams or Cast cranks)
