Brian: You need to correct pully to suit which rack you run.
PPS Rack needs the small pully to overdrive the pump at slower engine speeds then they bleed pressure at high speed.
Not sure what's going to happen with the large non PPS pully as it's going to have less pressure at low speeds...
Mass: At a bare minimum it'll need honing so I'd be careful about this approach in case you end up building a rattle monster :(
(piston to bore needs to be quite tight with modern forged pistons and there's a chance you'll end up with too much clearence)
John:Because there are much better alternatives available now at very reasonable prices that will be much more effecient.
Back in the day where a good IC could run into the $1000's I could see making the effort to find a budget solution but not now.
Collin: If you do it make sure you swap in a GTE Oil pump as well as the squirters will cause a pressure/volume drop when open that the NA pump may not be able to keep up with.
The chrome plating lifts from the impact and you end up with a spinning razor blade in your hand :(
(just in case anyone was wondering why it's a bad thing)
