I'll be doing a "kit" for a friend in a few weeks time based on Mk4 Callipers and 350z track Rotors.
I have all the hardware here it's just waiting till I finish the current run of parts I'm making.
I advocate the NAPA test first as it's a no tools test not all that expensive and could save you picking up tools which on these cars ALWAYS leads to further expense ;)
A couple of reasons I didn't install in the collector.
a) PITA to remove the header to weld in a bung
b) The probe is 1/8" stainless steel so not all that sturdy considering the heat involved if the motor does lean out for any reason and the thought of a failure and having the probe go...
Mine is in the Downpipe about 12" down from the flame front.
My DP is Ceramic coated and I run a blankie on the turbine housing so there's isn't much of a temp drop at the probe.
Buy a NAPA combustion gas test kit and check the coolant.
The T Stat has the seal for that water neck so my guess would be at this stage if it passes the napa test it's just leaking at the water neck after some genius Cletus'd it.......
