    If the CFS Rad is thicker the heat source will be closer to the bimetallic spring on the front of the clutch and might be enough to hang the valve open.

    Nig: DON'T be tempted to remove too much! I was using Koni Yellows and had a Toyota Bump stop split on the Ocean road down here and it DESTROYED the shock when it bottomed out :(
