    If the LHD cores are like the RHD ones there's a dip in the tank that divides it in half they split there. (under the foam crap) My "Spare" Core was in really good condition but had split the tank I took it to my Rad shop and had them Silver Braze the split then Solder it all back together...

    LT80: I machined an aluminium tube that I tapped into the Brass tube after getting it as straight as I could so it doesn't squash again.

    Would do better turning up a brass sleeve and drilling the holes in the bracket larger. The sheetmetal bracket wears into the pedal shaft :(

    Chris: Yep 5th is actually cut into the mainshaft it's that big!! :aigo: (I'm serious I've seen truck gearboxes that had smaller shafts and gears!) I missed a shift badly and trashed the 3rd syncro, no matter how good/strong a box is it won't cope with driver error too often before it shits...
