The ends of the fins look much flatter to the incoming air so maybe this + the magic cover give the 50 ft/lbs? ;)

Tek: Yes they're meant to be more robust ...... ;)
And they flow better for a given size but as I said mine looks pretty sad the matrix is concave when you look into the Cat.
You unclip the arm loosen the nut then the rod will turn.
Holding the arm closed you adjust the rod so you have half the hole diameter as preload ie: Rod shorter by about 3mm.
You can loosen the actuator mounting bolts to make refitting the rod and clip easier then tighten everything and...

If you look at the navigation panel on the left of that page you'll see "Starter" go there then "Starter Relay" and it describes the procedure to check it.
For now I'd just roll start the thing so you can get to work then fix it later on.

If you actually need this shaft it has to be 100% perfect if not just stick some Uni's and a fresh centre bearing in your stock DS.
This is a niche product not a money saving exercise guys......
