    Positive displacement pump...... If the motor is turning it's flowing Oil, 1 to 1 right up until any of the internal leaks open (ie: Squirters,relief valves and so on). If anything is open at low rpm it could possibly be bleeding enough pressure at 900 rpm to allow metal to metal contact...

    Filters only flow one way (non return valve in most) If you reverse the IN/OUT you get 0 oil pressure.

    It's worth chucking a mechanical guage on it and checking idle pressures. Could be something stupid like a stuck Squirter bleeding off the Idle pressure.

    I ignored this thread as my tolerence for bullshit is a bit low at the moment but I really have to ask 213 mph in what? GPS verified and at what RPM? What tire size and diff gears? for that matter what brand tires and pressures?
