    Usually you do what's called a free air calibration. You hang the sensor on it's wires out of the exhaust awat from any breeze and adjust the knob.

    I would ;) If you can afford to replace them often they can stay where they are. Are you able to recalibrate them in the controller?

    The sensors while they will work being that close will have a greatly reduced lifespan.

    Bul: Yep it was STUPID expensive to build into an IRS (probably got more $ in the rear end than a LOT of the cars here in total) but given my driving style (or lack of) I figured at least this way I never have to worry about grenading it ;)

    Depends on how bad it's cooked (not sure if there's a point of no return) He could do free air cals and see if it settles any. I'm NOT a big fan of piggy back fuel controls as they seem to fight the ecu at times.

    Too close to the flame front it's probably cooked the sensors.
