most polishes contain acids that help to eat the tarnish away, but in the process cause it later (thus meaning you have to keep buying the product)
get em polished up without acids (there are many professional polishes to choose from and have em clearcoated so they're low maintenance
they add negative camber for racing, and won't help get back to a stock alignment when lowered (like some people want)
