the boot is easy... but if it's been torn for long and it leaking bad, thent eh seals that the boot is supposed to protect have probably been screwed up...
Inspect it to see if it's leaking (a little seepage is OK, but lots...)

there are better, cheaper alternatives to royal purple with better additive packages.

keep in mind the stock MKIV pump and the walbro flow about the same, until you start pushing the pressure up...
this was tested in a magazine not too long ago, all pumps are not created equal, and they often times have the same rating...

keep in mind you'll have to buy a tap to clean the holes out as the stock headbolts only go halfway in while the studs have to go all the way in...

It pissed of MANY of the hot cars out there...
