yep, IIRC the coilovers for a MKIV bolt up and the drivetrain is basicly an N/A MKIV... but without the outragious price

pressure plate takes just as much of a beating as the flywheel... if you're flywheel isn't toast, get it resurfaced, and get a new clutch (including the PP). What are your power goals, and what power are you at now?

tru dat, but I HAVE heard of bad 1J's (hacked harnesses all the time), BHG and rodknock will happen to any poorly maintained engine...

true, but toyota has a good record of overbuilding their cars (we can all be thankfull that we don't snap axle shafts, ect because of this) so it's good designing on their part. There is another reason to run them, something about the wristpins with aftermarket rods or something, can't find...

gated shifter won't work, hard to explain, but our shifter fulcrum is literally right under the boot. The gate would have to be a few inches above the console (I had this idea too LOL)

funnels the air through the radiator and IC instead of under the car... stock rocks, water, ect from getting up into the engine bay (it's oftentimes refured to as a "splash guard" to keep water off the belts)

sounds like a shitty foglight rewire was done...

if he's trying to put a volt meter in a turbo cluster it can be a bit confusing...
