I can understand the flywheel resurfacing. I just had a clutch fail because of improper resurfacing (backstep wasn't machined)

if I can find my spare hub and assmebly I'll try to take pics tommorow, but the end result is it will work....for some time. Eventually the rotation will rotate the snap ring enough to start machining the lip off the throwout bearing (or in my case, the hub) and it will fail. First time...

the release bearing is backwards, I can tell that much... it's VERY IMPORTANT you get this right, or it will fail start here (the picture shows the proper layout of the part, but they have better info in the next few pages)...

The way the spring is makes it pretty tough to pull out, it takes a good tug to get it out. I just replaced my clutch, it's a million times easier with a tranny jack... Doom: it doesn't look like the release bearing hub is assembled correctly!! Improper assembly will lead to it failing...
