you HAVE to unbolt that side of the bumper to get that pipe through... the front bumper will flex enough to gt it in there, but without it you can't pop it in and rotate it into place...

was the hub assembly assembled EXACTLY as it was removed? if not, that could be the sound of the snap ring gradually machining the lip off the hub and it will eventually pop off and you won't be able to use your clutch...
