Agreed. The biggest cause of the BHG is insufficient torque from the factory on the head bolts, so it can easily happen on either engine.

When the clutch unit fails, the fan stops spinning properly, and therefore gets quiet. The dull roar is how you know it's still working. :)

There are two problems with this. 1. They are custom made. 2. They don't work very well - fine for showcars, but driving at night they are ineffectual.

Actually, i can answer the charcoal canister question as well. If you've pulled the canister, cap the lines at the BVSV or the throttle body, the incoming line to the canister from the fuel tank, and get a venting gas cap. This has nothing to do with the EGR.

The vacuum line goes up between your runners and connects to the stock by pass valve signal line. I'm not sure about the other two question without looking at the car... and it's outside. And it's raining. :)

RPS has the replaceable friction surface. Never seen a Fidanza up close. Spec is just a rebadged Fidanza from what I understand.

Your memory is impeccable. The Doc is one of the people who had a problem with the RPS unit.

Same here, the only ones I've seen in Aluminum were custom fabbed - Trent from MVP had them at one time. SupraJack - you're setting up to make these? Can you ballpark what the cost will be? Stock routing, or snorkel hole routing?
