I've got this common issue (I had it in my previous Supras anyways). The windows rattle from side-to-side. The felt pad (or whatever) is wore out and the metal behind it, scratches your tint/window.... You can see the path I outlined in the 1st pic and the wore out spot, where the metal...

No... those 14mm bolts are jus' fo' decoration.... The head should come off... make sure that you got the small bolts off of the timing plate/cover where the cam gears are at. I think there may be 1 or two that attack to the block(?)... can't remember. Also, even after everything's loose...

I've never recieved replacement shims with any over-the-counter pads... I don't think they come with the Toyota ones either (unless you buy them as well). I think NAPA has a brake hardware kit that may include the shims. I've always had to re-use the ones I have (several different cars).

Yeah I got the 48-08 Anco (Federal Mogul) adapters today from a O'Reilly's auto parts (Texas chain?).... $1.49 each... needed 3, ordered 6 (to add to all the other spare parts in my garage). So, check with your local parts stores if ya need 'em... got all 3 changed out today with 19" and 18"...

Okay, so we've all swapped out our stock wiper blades (not the refills, but the holder itself)... I got a few ANCO wiper blades to match the ones we got for the GF's MKIV... 18, 19, and 20 inch... That way, when we buy refills, we both get a new set, since refills come in pairs. So...

Mine have held up forever too.... I used 3M spray adhesive and a bit of glue (glue-gun) on some of the pieces of fabric when I "folded" it over in the back of the panels. Damn... gotta find them pics....
