If the head's already off, you have easy access to the tranny bolts, etc... It will be much easier to just pull the block and do the rest on a stand. The $$ and time to tow to a shop, drop the crossmember, add a possible alignment, etc.... Just get off the PC and go pull that dang block...

I think the market is there, but they are a hard sell, when they can be bought cheap off of Ebay. I got a set, just like above, for about $85 (after shipping). You can probably find 'em cheaper tho. To me: Not enough profit/margin to set something up and have the associated headaches. Let...

Bringing this up from the past, 'cause I need a little help... I have a BRAND NEW 89+ engine harness and it won't fit any of the sensors which are on the ~87 engine I have now, or the JDM engine which I've just replaced. Are all the USDM T-Stat housing sensors the same, 87-92? Or, are there...

Looking for pics of where the tranny kickdown cable runs, as well as the throttle and cruise cables (to the throttle body). Sorry, dunno much about this auto nonsense and don't have sumthin' to compare to. TIA, E

Naw... not important enuff. Would've gotten the 3-piece taillights for $95 shipped. His loss, just wish he'd reply and say sumthin'.... I'll likely just go ahead and report him to Ebay or whatever, but am avoiding the neg-feedback thing. I don't know the guy and he may do something stupid...

The engine harness and ECU need to be for the same model (pre-89 or 89+). Then, there's the dash connections... You didn't say, but what do you have now? If this is going into an N/A, it may not be that big a deal... just a lil' work at the dash/engine harness connections.

Scenario... Old engine was a JDM (TB only had 1 nipple, etc). Replacement engine came from a 5-speed, throttle body has no place for kickdown cable. JDM throttle body had no place for it either. Looks like they ran the car with it unattached...? :3d_frown: What problems would that...

FWIW... I used Eiesley's Machine in Tampa (Brandon), FL... I supplied the valve stem seals and they did the rest... valve job, seals replaced, cleaned, etc... Came out to less than $200. The 2nd time, I needed some straightening (a different head) and it all came to about $300. This...
