Hey?how does torque give you less gear changes? lol Mine revs to 7000rpm when it shifts split second due to an M.V automatics shift kit.
Nothing to be embarassed about 1jz are great! I just dont think they are the end all and be all. For me I think taking a 7m out and putting in a 1jz is a...

Hi guys i have a friend whos just had his 7mgte ma70 turboA dynotuned, and the technique the tuner used puzzled me a little. He first set the timing at 15 degrees(stock turbo A cams) then proceeded to tune the map ecu at 11 afr across the board and wouldnt tune the car over 14psi because he said...
i really liked your cardboard template that seemed to work great. But what i dont understand is how your going to work the inner side of the manifold tube? Are you cutting the tube in half, welding the runners, shaping the velocity stacks, then rewelding the tube? sorry im just trying to picture...
aerodynamics plays a big part in a high h.p motor .I paid extra and got my crank golfballed , its where they dimple the cranks counterweights and when its under high revs it traps air between the crank and the oil, makes it rev like a f1 car...cost heaps but.
less b.s more pics dude, show us the goodies youve already bought , show us the shiny built bottom end, what brand high flow oil pump did you use?
im not doubting you i just love pics..:biglaugh:

Did you compression test it at all?i too am running the 20 thou over wisecos and they were sweet to work with, just check your ring gap clearances to bore when installing...
what size wisecos did you use? did you use the wiseco recomended clearance that came with the pistons for the cylinder walls? are all pistons facing the right way?did you check that the machine shop followed this clearance or just used there own?
