I found an easy way to build a decent one.
Get some 12mm steel from memory and cut out your top and bottom plates
(use you gaskets as a template if you have too)
Get a 4" mandrel bent 90 degree section of exhaust pipe.
Have your local exhaust guy flare one end of the 4" pipe into a oblong...
Ebay isn't to blame here. If i had a daily and it's exhaust fell off i'd put a cheap knockoff on it to get me from a to b ..only a dickhead would pay big bucks for a name brand on a piece of crap daily just to support apexi or HKS.:nono:
I wouldn't go bumper to bumper with my wife at 110 in case she did somthing silly like brake, lets face it a supra will not pull up as hard as the lancer at that speed. Gay race = gay results.
The funny thing is every now and again the dodgy engine build is the one that last forever and won't die, luck with it matey hope you get a decent run out of it and not just seize on start up.
What! a map ecu just goes "okay i'll target no.5 piston and turn it into toast" i can't even believe you wrote that. Did you not even consider that maybe the fuel injectors weren't flowing accurately or some other possible scenario? How the #$#$$# hell does a piggyback discriminate against...
Like i said, if it is used for it's correct purpose then it's a great little fuel computer, if you are after more than 500 hp obviously you'll be needing timing control at some point but there's a lot of people that are happy at 300-400hp for a daily and for that purpose it works great once...
I like the autometer 2 pod design and i can get it colour matched or take it to my trimmer and get it recovered in the same colour, sweet thanks guys for the links.:bigthumb:
So i decided on a Prosport wideband for the car and ordered it but i have no idea where to put it that won't either cut into the car or leave screw holes.
Double sided tape and i don't see eye to eye so if anyone has any suggestions feel free to post up.
