Go look around in the JZ part of the forums, there are plently of cases of 1J's and 2J's getting rod knock as well.

Yeah, sorry, I looked at it and it didn't make sense, so I changed it. Tire size doesn't make as much difference as tire construction. Two tires, one a slick, the other a POS H rated tire, which one is going to get better traction?
