Tila Nguyen Thread Part II. NWS ..duh!

Dude, you can get a computer for FREE. Circut City was giving them away the other day - you had to get up early, stand in line, and fill out a bunch of rebate forms, but the net result was a free computer. As for being afraid of catching a virus... that's just ridiculous. Exactly how would an...

    High idle

Even if you get the 4 clicks, there is a very good chance that it's still all gummed up inside. Take it out and clean it off, 15 years of PCV blowby isn't good for moving parts.

    fcd question

Depends on what FCD you picked up. Some of them just cap the signal, making fuel cut never happen - some of them scale the signal, moving fuel cut to a higher boost level. The former is junk, I wouldn't put it anywhere near my car, the latter is ok, but even so I'd spend a bit more money and...

    What ever happend to.....

There are plenty of girls who like Mk3s. I can guarantee you that any model who will pose with a Honda will pose for us - it's just a matter of paying the same fee and getting a good photographer. The reason you don't see a lot of model photos with our cars is that nobody has stepped up to the...

    Another Power Steering ? Help!

Wrong side of the engine. Pump is driven off the belts on the front of the engine, and it's on the other side - under the Cam Position Sensor, and directly under the power steering fluid resevoir.

HAC = High Altitude Sensor. Basically it's a barometric sensor used in conjuction with the Air Flow Meter to tell the ECU how much air is going into the engine.

    Another Power Steering ? Help!

Bleeding is simple - get a buddy to sit outside the engine bay and pour in fluid as needed. Jack up the front end until both wheels are off the ground, with the car as level as possible. Turn the steering lock to lock several times - pausing for a few seconds at each extreme. Drop it back to...

    Ever heard...?

The local radio stations are in love with this POS song. If I never hear it again, it'll be too soon.

Tila Nguyen Thread Part II. NWS ..duh!

Sorry, but this has to be said. No high speed access??? ROFLMAO... where do you live? On the moon? Get with the program, buy some high speed access. It's worth it just for the pr0n in this thread.

    Another Power Steering ? Help!

I don't think so. My fluid never gets very hot... and the pump is working the hardest when you are stopped, so there would be no airflow to cool the cooler anyhow.

You're In Stasis 100 Years. What's the First Tech You Look Into?

I don't normally like to polls from /. much, but this one is NEAT. :D MCD, I'm not sure what you are looking for - if you woke up tomorrow and it was the year 2105, what technology area would you look into first? I should have made an option for "Tech? wtf are you talking about? I'd go...

    What ever happend to.....

Larry spends most of his time on the California forum, IIRC. Shawn got a new job, and didn't have the time to dedicate to more than lurking. He does still post now and then. No idea about Mike... I'm curious as well.

Absolutely true. However... and this is important... he obviously thinks you will learn more if you figure this out for yourself. And I concur. I'm guessing that you haven't read that link in my sig yet...

And why? Personally, I think my answer is Yes.

    7m Intake vs FFI

Not neccesarily - depends on the design. Take a real example - an air conditioning system for a building. The pipe to each vent is the same size, however, you get less air flow the further the pipe runs from the main HVAC unit. Now make those pipes smaller, but they carry 30psi instead... a...

LOL... Someone has just run out of patience. Lucky for you, he was kind enough to reply anyhow - unlike me. I'll tell you straight up - as soon as I saw the code 32, I honestly stopped thinking about helping. I'll bet most of the guys who know what they are doing didn't even make it that far...
