So are you saying turn the ignition on then try to set it up with the engine off Moe? Because it was configured for and MKIV and all the setting seem to be correct. I chose Karman for the a/f readings so I'm not sure what's up still.

It's wired correctly but I still can't get the car to start with it hooked up. Everything else is still working though.

I would hope they all look just about the same considering they're all going on the same vehicle. You guys are ridiculous.

They blow because they are improperly torqued. You can use a mhg if you want, it won't hurt anything. You'll still have to make sure the block and head surfaces are in good shape. I'd still recommend arp's for the bolts but a stock hg will work just fine if you install it right.

One last question, I am supposed to be using the orange and pink wires for the Karman signal right? I'm just curious because I can't get the car to start with those hooked up but without them all the readings show up except Karman.

Yes I did :) Anyways just went out and checked and the connection to the harness from inside the safc came loose from the circuit board. So now it shows up when I turn the power on :icon_bigg Thanks for that suggestion db

Yea it was used. I can't hook up all the wires because two run off of the air pressure instead of karman for the 7m.

Ok my friend and I tried hooking up the safc yesterday on my 87 7mgte and I can't get anything to show up on the display. We soldered everything except for the air flow readings which are on male/female connectors. Everything shows that the safc is getting power but nothing shows up on the...

I thought there was a pulley remover tool you were supposed to use for removing it. I believe you can rent it from auto parts stores.

Wasn't there some website that had a estimated conversion into 1/4 mile times based on weight and HP?
