Not sure where your two yellows came from.
That's the way I was planning on going although I was still hoping to not have to do it. To me that's still hacking up my harness. Only way to go I guess though.

I never found a replacement for that, I actually just cut that piece off and soldered a new wire onto the existing one. The clips should have a small hole in them somewhere to keep them from just popping out though. I think I put heat shrink or something similar over it to keep it from sliding...
They might, I reused the old ones but getting new ones is probably better. I'd look around for a store that deals mainly in wiring and things like that but Napa or some others could have them.
You should be able to pop the wires back out of the plastic with a tiny screw driver and rewire each indiviual connection on the cps. That's what I did and it worked fine.

Not sure if the link is working but they are called Electro-tap splices, will those do the same as he scotch locks?
What did he torque the head to when it was installed? If you used a stock toyota gasket it shouldn't have blown after 10k unless you did something wrong.
