before we go too much off topic, where can i get a fpd? and why would mine start to leak? i understand too when installing them to torque them to 14 lbs, but how do i do that with a wrench?

my pulsation dampener is leaking from the top lip and was wondering if i removed it and welded the top lip closed, if it would affect anything and help with the leak. or where could i get a replacment locally? autozone? checker?
