firewall, brakes need re-routing, clutch re-routing....too much to list..it might just be better if you found a front clip a used that. or, atleast get detailed pics of a front clip and see what you would have to move and make a list frome there.

thats some baaaaaad rod knock.....if you wanna fix it, drain the oil and rev to 6k+ rpm.....lol jk.....tear the motor down.....what you have to worry about most is the crank....it might be scratched too deep......hopefully the rods have a little bearing left in them to be taking that blow but...

im currently putting my new motor together and have gotten to the turbo water line routes.....i need a pic of where they go....i know where the top one goes but im finishing someone elses project so its getting kinda tough....thanks

it was a mirror finish as fuck......i had to play with it a little to go in but once it was in it had no play whatsoever and was snug while still able to spin.....

if felt pretty fine to me....and i did it slowly.....sand, test fit, sand test fit, until it just slipped in and turned freely

what i ended up doing was atatching the shaft to a drill press and turning it on then going over the journals with 800 grit for a little while....it fits!!

the oil pump is not yet installed

argh i bough a supra from noredline. the motor was completely rebuilt but is in short block form still. i went to install the oil pump drive gear and it wont fit!! is there a difference in years as far as the size of the bearings? the bearing looks original in the motor where the shaft sits but...

i just purchased noredline's supra and it has a new motor from toyota as well as head and finally have everything sitting in my garage....the motor is in short block for now without the oil pump installed yet.....is there a way i could test the oil pump to make sure its good? its been cleaned up...
