do you have a recommendation for a spring that would work well for a full weight mk3? preferably on stiff side, but not to the point that i will have a filling fall out if i hit a bump?
would you happen to be a dealer of these sleeves? and perhaps springs also?
thats makes sense. i was a little lost on the fuse calculation. yeah, i wuldnt want to take the little spl advantage over distorion right now with the risk of hurting anything when i still have another amp and sub on its way to maybe up for the spl. thanks for the advice
well i wired it back at bridged with a 2 ohm load. and after latting it play for a while, it doesnt really get to hot, only warm to the touch. it did start to clip, but it was only when i was adjusting the gain. right now the amp is rated at 800watts at 4 ohms briged. when you calculate roughly...
what about controlling it with gain. so far i ran the subs and amp like tis and there was no clipping. but should it happen would i be able to tune the gain down untill the clipping is gone? or is this only solved with the volume knob?
ive never experienced amp clipping. if it starts to clip the signal, would there be any time to turn it down and stop the clipping, or is it something that once it happens, by the time i see it, it will be to late? like detonation? the amp i have can at most put 600 watts to each speaker. the...
yeah i saw that. but i couldnt help thinking that if they were both 275s they would look a little bit closer to having the same profile. but any who, how is the understeer/oversteer balance of them?
the amp it self has 3 35amp fuse. 105 amp intake. and i have wired the power cord for an 80 amp fuse. so if if the amp trys to draw enough the voltage for the 2ohms, it should blow the power wire fuse first right? before the amp melts
on another note, what are some of the tricks you guys have...
with my supra being a weekend warrior only i have no problem with a stiff set up. i would rather have it work great as a track suspension and suffer the consequences of driving it on the road, with the exception of ride height. Roumour has it the eibachs, as a progressively wound spring flexs...
i can control myself. but also i am unaware of the reprocussions of running the amp at half its rated minimum ohms. will it just overheat from the lack of resistance? the amp has a overheat shut down safty...i have allready ran it like that out of ignorance when first installing it all, and it...
looks like a great idea. i would like to see a pic of the driver side end tank. does it face rear like the other side? or point to the side? for not being ffim i think this looks like a pretty efficient intercooler set up. other than the 90 degree bend you'll have on the drivers side
from what i remember (correct me if im wront) some of the nos companies have smartened up the nitrous delivery. where they are computer controlled to apply nos at a gradual rate. so it will introduce a little and work its way up to the full 75, or 100 hp shot over the course of a few hundred HP...
why are the fronts looking streched and the rears look stuffed?
how does it feel driving? how balanced does it feel, does it throw the ass out, or feel like it needs a larger tire out back?
the ruff rims look killer. where did you pick yours up through? do you know what sizes are avalible yet? maybe a 18x9.5? any maybe some +35? what asize are you running, and can we see more pics? maybe in the day? :biglaugh:
Well i baught my subs (2 kicker 10" L5's) and an amp. The kickers are dvc 2 ohm, and have been wired together aat 2 ohms. the amp is a 2 channel, and bridgeable to 4 ohms stable. so right now i have the subs hooked up only on one channel to prevent over loading.....
Is there anyway to wire...
looking to get the basic unit to start off with as a conversion as a MAP system. But, i was searching around and couldnt find how much boost i could run with the maft pro and the stock 440's. (READ: how much boost would it take to get the stock injectors to 80%. i.e. 350 hp?) they will be...
well right now i want to get the parts on. and have them done right. i wanted to get them on there and painted. but im not ready to have the whole car painted yet.
so i was seeing if there was a way to install them without having to have the whole car painted
i know my car will need to be painted pretty soon, but untill i find a garage i can keep it in for a while i just as soon put off the paint. this will also be put off untill i get the bodykit pieces i want. just little things like a lip and sideskirts, and rears. my question for you guys that...
allright. allright. ill pull the foot out of my mouth. now to return the thread to its proper owner, what are the wheels. yes the ones on the supra pictured above
