    Official SF thread

LOL - and on top of that, a Mk4 guy started *this* site, too! For that matter, he still pays for the name registration on sm.com every year, out of his own pocket. An April fool's joke? Err... has it occured to them that it's the 4th?

    pump gas?

Turbo, boost, etc, really don't have that much effect - beyond being able to push that much air into the engine in the first place, anyhow. Max power on pump gas (or any grade of fuel, for that matter) is controlled by three main factors - how well your head can flow, how cold you can get the...

    how much hp for boring?

Noting you can measure, unless you are running naturally aspirated. The amount of air we can squish into the cylinders is really dependant on the turbo and the valve size in the head, not the displacement.

    Official SF thread

Trust me when I say that we won't tolerate anything like the same crap here. Not that I anticipate a problem, most of the OT whores from there wouldn't like to be associated with mere Mk3s. Hopefully they will all move on to the Skyline forums, or somewhere else where they can't pester us.

    Photo Enthusiasts Need Your Opinion!

I assume that you are familiar with the site http://dpreview.com - this is, IMO, the premier camera review site on the 'net.

will someone buy something for me pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee

I'd be glad to help you out, Suze, however if you can get someone in the USA, I'd suggest you get them first, I'm close, but not quite in the USA... I figure you'd rather avoid another set of duties and taxes if possible.

    Factory Alarm

Sounds like it's time for you folks to pull the factory alarm and install a switch on your fuel pump instead. That way you still get the security of nobody being able to steal your car without the services of a towtruck, and you don't have to deal with the worn lock sensors anymore. I'm...

    Mods?

Actually, knowledge is only one facet of a sucessful moderator, and by far the least important. More important are a thick skin, the ability to step back and look at the whole situation, the ability to decicate a large amount of time to the job, and last but by no means least the ability to get...

For the moment, it will come under the domain of CK, Ideal, and Shaeff. With possibly some help here and there from myself and Jeff.

    New Mark III

I'm going to back Mike up on this. I blew my stock head gasket deep into the water jackets on all 6 cylinders, AND blew the rings and ringlands on one piston so bad that blowby was pushing the oil dipstick out of the block at idle. Eventually the upper rad hose couldn't take the pressure and...

At the mercy of Canada Post, actually. They've been losers recently in the speed delivery arena. :( Luckily I am a patient man.

Many members have just squeezed it flat and welded it shut, too.

Your guide to drag strip success w/pics.

Err... this depends on what kind of racing you are doing. I've never seen a street legal style race that uses reaction time... but it's there for a reason, lots of race types do.
