finally!!! i can weld aluminum from home

Gotta start somewhere! Practice a lot and you'll do fine :) I would highly suggest starting on flat plates just laying beads down, working into lap welds, then to butt welds. Once you gel that you can try round/irregular surfaces. Worked for me!

Jeremy, if you had ridden in Sean's car that Datsun would have been on the auction block once you got home. ...well that or the supra, depends on how you 'took' the ride :evil2:

Yeah, ARZ's kit requires 18" rims to clear the brakes in front, so I could see thiose calipers being a bit large. They also cost $1200 o.O This is why I like the cobra brake setup since it allows 17" rims to be used. Still haven't decided, though. Grimsta has the cobra setups for $750!

    AEM vs Others

^^ This is a cool function. Just like an OEM factory setup. (sadly my V1 AEM does not have that function so its 2 maps on a flashdrive and tuning computer for me) :D

    timing

Which timing are you talking about? Cam timing requires the crank to be at 0 degrees to properly set it up. Ignition timing requires a timing light, the diagnostic connector pins E1 and TE1 to be shorted, and then you aim for 10degrees BTDC at idle, fully warmed up.

    AEM vs Others

These guys have the right idea, the only thing I'd like to add would be te infinite adjustability/adaptability you have with a standalone vs piggybacks. I am running E-85 inmy Sup and can switch back to pump if I get lost without fuel. Just a perk not many think of right away :)

His turbo was not. It is a Comp turbo (the turbo maker that Greg uses for his LIPP turbo line) but Seans was a custom unit ordered directly from Comp. He also used a custom T-4 exhaust manifold and an external wastegate

You would've loved to ride in his car... 74mm turbo, 74/7600 rpm redline (7M still), stock brakes... scary as hell but that's the fun part, right?

VV Sean His car I'm doubtful he bought parts from anyone (not just you), he prefers to make his parts since he's a poor poor college boy. :D Howevr, if you did get to ride in his car, you were one of the lucky few! A ride to remember for sure D:

    still no powersteering

So I would still replace the reservoir, but you have obviously found the problem! Now lets keep it from happening again (or worse, taking out a component) Congrats!

    still no powersteering

PPS. Progressive power steering. I'm not sure if it being unplugged will cause the power steering to stop functioning, but it's a good idea :)

    still no powersteering

You would think so, but since there is nothing being drawn into the pump (due to the screen being clogged), the system is in a no-flow situation. It is very hard on the pump if you can imagine, being without lubrication or cooling in the form of the PS fluid (ATF in a supra's case). edit-...

    Bored block question

be aware- that spec only applies to OEM toyota pistons. Aftermarket pistons will have their own specs.
