    timing belt install

Here's what I do with timing belts: 1- get the marks lined up and the belt installed 2- release the tensioner bolt so the spring can pull the belt tight(ish). 3- *important* put a wrench on te exhaust cam and rotate it counter-clockwise until the belt is tight on the intake gear-oil pump...

02 Sensor Thread Tap & Die

The AEM comes with a weld-able bung from the factory! For what its worth, I welded my bung in the pipe right next to where the transmission inspection cover is. Shouldn't take long at all if you pay someone to do it, I'd guess around $20-40 tops if they mig weld it in. Just be absolutely sure...

    Steve's mildly out-of-control build

Exhaust side done. I'm a cold, sore person right now, and I have to do it again tomorrow night on the intake side! Got .010" clearance set on all 12 valves, and it took a lot of fiddling. These valves shall not make noise and they shall make powah!!! time for bed, so tired...

Rob- I've just had a thought... You dislike the way the big TB responds on your car and want to return to stock (or so I'm led to believe) I have a stock throttle body that's been set up for cruise, FFIM, and has a Q45 flange attached to it. I'm looking to upgrade my throttle body Do you...

    Thermostat gauge

Oh, that's ok to leave that fan out if you aren't using your AC. I'd go with the previous procedure to make sure the cooling system on your car is good to go. (see post #4) Good luck :)

    Thermostat gauge

Well, unless you have nuts and washers was on the pulley, you can't drive the water pump without the fan installed. There are other issues with this car, I suspect... rust in the coolant, no fan, wonky temp gauge...things seem quite a bit off. 1- You need clean coolant in the car (no rust at...

    Thermostat gauge

I'm also concerned with the rust still coming from the block... I would suggest using a good quality radiator flushing agent in the system, followed by several system flushes from as many angles as you can (spray water into the heater core, head, etc) to get all that rust out. If you have rust...

    92nsx's supra build

My AEM is a bit smaller, but you know its where the ashtray used to be. I like it because its low-key and out of the way, plus I'll never use an ashtray in my sup ;)

    Our chickens.

They *should* be normal sized, likely medium to large. The Buff Orpingtons will lay beige~brown eggs, and the araucanas will lay pale green eggs :D

    Our chickens.

You'll love the araucana eggs... the're GREEN! My parents have chickens for the eggs as well, my best advice is to buy a good water tank (leaks suck) and never let them run out of shell bits. You will not like your eggs if you run out D: Thin shells break so easily and they make such a mess of...
