Nope, the guage is completely seperate (it functions the same as an aftermarket electronic boost gauge). Turbo-A's and 1J's are MAP.

There are quite a few in that power range that are DD's around here, sorry to burst your bubble. If you're not going with a modern Chevy V8 (LS1 or better), then there really isn't a reason to do the swap...

Yep, cams/turbos are the main difference in power. JDM made more torque though...

yeah, grabbed the downpipe... Damn that sucks ass, hopefully it didn't damage too much (I'd check motor mounts and anything the exhaust could have come in contact with)

Blue box, can't miss it (it slides off the bracket pretty easily as well). It's under the driver's side dash if you can't figure out where the pic was taken.

No, turbonetics makes an exhaust housing that bolts onto our stock manifold. Almost all the bolt on turbos (that aren't just bored out CT's) use it.

I had to remove my shims when I went from stock DP to DDP...

Do NOT use an impact... Hell, if you have a cheap impact and a smallish compressor, you're not going to get to the proper torque value for the rears...

There isn't a single torque to yeild fastener on a 7M...

Well, boost leak, no, but it will leak exhaust out the dump tube constantly which gets annoying...
