Well, first of all, I really doubt if this will work. Fuel prices are set from a huge variety of factors, and I don't think they really care how much we buy from one company or another. However, that said, it really cannot hurt... unless you work for Exxon, of course. ;)

By short, do you mean not as tall, or do you mean the throw is shorter?

In theory, yes. In reality, you would likely have problems with the angles at that point because the two ends of the cylinder would need to be non-parallel if you did so.

Actually, those aren't J / US market specific, they are specific to the subframe. So, unless you are going to swap out the subframe in your car, you will need to buy the round ones to match your subframe. Or make some solids for a little of that go-cart feel, which is my personal favorite route.

Oh... I hate to point this out, but my tranny looked easily that bad, and it took me about 2 minutes to clean. Steam cleaners rock.

Yup, easy enough fix. You'll need to pull the top of the motor apart, soak up any oil you can, blow the rest out of the spark plug valley with compressed air, pull the plugs, clean everything up and put it all back together with new gaskets and preferably new bolts on the valve covers too.

Looks ok to me. The oil will be from dead valve cover seals, seen this LOTS.

I'm the same way - I like to read the evidence and come to my own conclusions. Anyone who is trying to prevent any evidence, for or against, on the subject gets a good swift kick in the ass from me.

Isnt there a regulation that says the exhaust must be behind the driver? Or is that only for street legal races? In any case, that looks fan-freaking-tastic.
