I'm pretty sure that's them. They said that they've done LOTS of MarkIII's...? I'm not having them tune anything per-say. I'm just putting in a base-line run. For $65.00, it's hard to beat compared to the local guys. I did call another place and was quoted $110. I forget the name though...

Hmm...not sure what they specialize in. Other recommendations welcome! The only dyno around here is Kaizen and they are $125.00 for three pulls.

Going to the Dyno for the first time and have questions.

Thanks IJ and Supracentral! Yeah, fresh oil and filter were on my list of to do's. One more thing I'll do is put my Walbro and new fuel filter in. Just to make sure I have adequate fuel supply in the event that he tells me I have room to turn up the boost. I'm not shooting for a number...

Hmm... Maybe he said Detonation, not knock. I don't remember those details. I know I wasn't sure on timing though. I was thinking of using a stop watch instead of a timing light. Will that work? :D All I know is that I DON'T want to Detonate! Been there and done the BHG thing!! ;)

Going to the Dyno for the first time and have questions.

I'm going to P.R.E. in Portland Feb. 20th. It will be 4 pulls. They will monitor HP, TQ, AFR, Knock, and I 'think' timing. My questions are: Should I do anything to prepare aside from the obvious, tire check, oil check, coolant check, etc...? Should I pull from 3rd or 4th? Given my...

    20G vs JT61GT

BTW: The JT61 is .70 A/R. The only spec I could quickly find was this on the 20G = (16 cm2). Don't know if that helps...

    20G vs JT61GT

Oooooh yeah! I love that the 57 has power pretty much on tap! That JT61 pulls like a moe foe when it wakes up! It'll be the best of both worlds! :)

    20G vs JT61GT

Yeah, the 20G requires an adapter. Don't know the model or part# for it though. My idea is to get rid of the 20G and stick with my JT61 and my 57 Trim CT. When one goes out, I'll switch to the other while the downed one is getting rebuilt. Sticking with these two turbos will make for...

What's causing my car to lope?

Yup. A plugged cat would do it. Does it run fine when it's cold then gets worse the more you drive it? If so, my bet is the cat.

    20G vs JT61GT

Ok. I got into a "Discussion" with someone about these two turbos the other day. The question was, will the JT61GT yield more power than the 20G at the same boost level. My car currently has the 20G on it. It came that way... I have a JT61GT on the bench ready to go in. I don't have my...

    Knocking motor

Dude, that is horrible! I HATE stories like this. How did you manage to run it out of oil?! Especially in only 1400 miles! Was your drain plug loose or something? Another idea is to buy a JDM, put that in, and keep any salvageable parts from your other engine for a future project.
