I've always been pleased with the directions that come with aftermarket gauges. My advice: Get the best gauges of your liking and ditch the chick! ;)

Hi Everyone! A friend of mine came over this evening and his car was running like cah cah. It is a stock 87 7MGTE. When I unplugged the AFM, the idle smoothed out considerably. Also, the car will not rev passed 4k while under load. He wasn't able to stay long; but, he is coming back...

Just a thought... Why not take a CPS out of one of the other supras to confirm the problem? :dunno: :)

The coil pack ground wire is on the passenger side, front of the coil pack bracket and goes almost directly down and bolts to the head. If you have a volt meter, check the continuity of the wire. Something else I noticed (you may have already fixed this) is that when you turn on your key...

There are wires that run across the valve covers right behind the Cam Gear Plate. It's toward the front of the engine. Basically, wiggle any wire that you see. Don't jerk on them like you're trying to start a lawn mower though! :D The CPS is on the passenger side of the engine toward the...
