Yep, the elbow on my 20G is a Trust.
I have no idea what I'd sell it for. Don't know what they're worth. I did a 'quick' search on google; but, came up short.
Can anyone shed some light on when these were produced and so on...?
Yeah, I was thinking ceramic coating it too. I doubt powder coat would stand up to the heat. But yeah, I'm definitely going to clean it up at the very least!
Yep. It says 'Blitz'!
I've never seen or heard of one before. I'm fairly new to supras so I guess that doesn't say a whole lot.
I was hoping one of our 'Supra Veterans' (was that P.C. enough? ;)) would comment.
I second the notion of one of the small elbow hoses. I had one leak and they are a pain to replace.
Some may not agree with me on this; but, I recommend sticking with the 'tension' type factory hose clamp there. It keeps a constant pressure on the hose that the typical worm gear clamp...
Ok guys.
The spot by my brake booster is full already. EGT wires, Power Cable to my amp, Boost gauge lines, etc... No room for my WB gauge wires.
Any other suggestions or should I just drill a hole?
I can't wait to put my sp61 on. I'm almost there. My WB, Maft, Walbro, and 550's need to be installed yet. I have it all, it's just not. I'm working on it though! :)
blk92suprat: No harm no foul. I actually wondered who you were talking to after I posted. My fault... :)
Yeah guys, I just came in to take a break before I started throwing wrenches. Not really...;) But yeah, I am definitely going to run the wires outside. I was wanting to run them...
Yep, the ABS route is the one I was eyeing up!
Good idea about covering it with loom and monitoring the melt factor of that.
Thanks!
Back under the car I go.....
You're going to have to be at or close to those kinds of boost levels on any turbo to land in the 400's.
Probably about the same... That's just a guess though.
Another possibilty that will cause boost problems is an exhaust leak. Do you hear any new noises?
You mentioned having the exhaust manifold gasket replaced. Check that. Those bolts back out sometimes. Especially, after having a new gasket installed.
