WB in and now a quick AFR Question:

Did a little boost tuning tonight and hitting 11~ between 4500k & 6k rpm in 3rd and it stayed around there as I got in to 4th. That's about as lean as I'd like to go without my other fuel mods in place. My current FP is 27psi with vac on. After my mods are in place, I plan on tuning for 11.5.

WB in and now a quick AFR Question:

Hitman: Thanks for that insight. You're right! It could be dipping into the 9's because it does hit 10 flat. Grim: Thanks to you also. I can see that it's going to be a walbro, 550's, and Maft-Pro weekend! :)

WB in and now a quick AFR Question:

Hi everyone, My UEGO WB is installed and I am concerned because toward the top of the rpm range, I’m getting in the 10’s. Right at 10 flat. I can’t tell you exactly at what rpm its happening because my eyes can’t move that fast between the WB gauge, rpm gauge, and the road. :) My fuel...

Oil return line help PLEASE (pics)

This could be just me; but, I would not want my oil return routed between my exhaust runners.

PSSSSSHHHHHHH...PSSSSSSSHHHHHHHH... I don't know about the rest of you; but, I doubt this guy will get a call because that sounds like Premature Blow-Off to me! :biglaugh:

    CajunKenny's Build Thread

Ok. I got the WB sensor mounted and the DP back in. I ran the WB wires up behind the brake lines and followed the main harness to the passenger side. There I had to drill a hole and install a grommet. After that, I removed the old Narrow Band AFR Poop-of-A-Gauge and mounted the new one...

    List of abbreviations (merged)

Maybe this should be sticky'd?! There are some acronyms that people use that leave me scratching my head. Call me a newb; but, man I need some of these things defined! Plus, I'm sure our new people would like some insight also... I'll start it off with just a few. DP = Downpipe...

    Oxygen Sensor Questions

The single wire sensors wait for heat from the exhaust to warm the sensor. The multiple wire sensors have a built in heater and use current to warm them up. Basically, the ones with built in heaters (multiple wires) come on-line quicker than the single wire sensors.

    SILV09 - Cancelled

I understand Keith. I know that the decision has already been made and probably can't be reversed. I wasn't just pointing you out with my post so PLEASE don't take it that way! I was just trying to be an encouragement. I was also addressing those that wish to try and put something together...

    SILV09 - Cancelled

Please don't take this the wrong way; but, we can't always have the biggest and the best all the time. That's just life! I'm not sure that cancelling because it won't be a bigger better event than the previous year is a good motive or frame of mind to base events on. That's a recipe for...

    60-1 turbo

Something doesn't sound right about the 4500 spool. My buddy has the same setup and he's hitting full spool around 3800 - 3950. His profecb low mode is set to 14psi and the high mode is set to 18psi. 354 HP at 15psi is good power! Did you try more boost? Can you post your dyno sheet?

    60-1 turbo

Not to mention cost and work. The 'T4' will not bolt right on. You'll have to acquire more parts to get it to mount, which equals $$$$$. The 57Trim bolts right on! :)

    AEM UEGO gauge

I'm not all familiar with the SAFC II at all; but, did it come with it's own software? Also, does it have a 0-5v input? If it came with software and has an input, you should be able to import the data from the Uego. That's what I'm doing with the Maft-Pro. Consult your instructions of...

I just remembered that I sent that turbo in for the 57 Trim upgrade. So, if it was anything special, it's been upgraded...or downgraded depending on how you look at it. I sent it to Performance Techniques in CA. I wonder if they upgrade YOUR turbo or if they have upgraded ones on the shelf...
